Tres Mujeres Mayas - Three Mayan Women

This painting is the most detailed out of all of our inventory and took the longest to create, contributing to its value. This piece also has a raised texture when you run your fingers along the surface. In addition, if you place sunlight behind this painting it shines through parts of the painting and gives it a similar look to stained glass. The extreme detail in the Mayan clothing as well as the calla lilies and candles are a beautiful demonstration of key aspects of Guatemalan culture.
