Lago de Atitlán con volcanes - Lake Atitlán with Volcanoes

Lake Atitlán is in a body of water in a large volcano crater in the southwest of Guatemala. The lake is surrounded by the Sierra Madre mountain range and is a large tourist attraction. The lake is also surrounded by volcanoes, small towns, and steep hills. This painting depicts Panajachel, which is where we purchased this piece. This town is a popular gateway to the lake and is known for the popular San Francisco Church and street markets. The neutral colors in this piece and peaceful landscape make it a great fit for any room.
