Muelles en el Lago de Atitlán

This painting depicts people sitting on the docks and collecting water in Lake Atitlán. The lake is a large tourist attraction, but many locals also live near the lake and need to travel from town to town. Sitting on the docks is a great way to enjoy the view and signal that you are looking for a transportation by boat.  There are 6 major towns on the lake which are accessible mainly by motorized boat and paddle boats. Sunrises and sunsets on the lake are known for their beautiful bright colors as shown in this painting.
