Maíz colorido - Corn

Corn is a staple in Guatemala and is eaten during almost every meal of the day. Corn is also a pivotal part of Guatemala's history and culture. According to Mayan mythology, God created man and woman from a seed of corn. Corn with multicolored kernels is a common sight in Guatemala and is reflected in this painting. The bright colors make this painting a great statement piece for any house.
