Cosecha de cebolla - Onion Harvest

Onions are a key part of Guatemalan agriculture and are harvested from October to December. The workers in this piece who are harvesting the onions are wearing traditional Mayan clothing with floral designs, stripes, etc. The designs in this painting are intricate and took a great level of time and skill to create.
